Each year on 25 April, an ANZAC Day Dawn Service is held at the Australian National Memorial, near Villers-Bretonneux in northern France, honouring the Australian men and women who have served and lost their lives in military combat.
This special service held near Villers-Bretonneux pays special hommage to the Australian soldiers who fought and lost their lives fighting for the freedom of Villers-Bretonneux and the French Republic in 1918.
The Australia France Business Association is calling from interest from AFBA members and friends to take part in a privately organised excursion to the 2025 ANZAC Day Dawn Service at the Australian National Memorial.
An estimated itinerary would include:
01.30am - Depart Paris on private coach (Drive approximately 2 hours)
4.00am - Pre-service
5.30am - Official service begins (1 hour)
6.30am - 7.30am - Bacon and egg roll breakfast at the Sir John Monash Centre
7.30am - 8.45 am - Private tour guide of the memorial and cemetery
9.00am - Time to explore the Sir John Monash Interpretation Centre (approx. 1 hour)
10.00am - Depart for Paris on private coach (boulangerie lunch provided for the bus)
Estimated cost per person:
75 euros - AFBA member
85 euros - non-member
